Leatherman Surge
The Leatherman Surge is a real multi-tool for professional use. You immediately see that this is the big brother of the popular Leatherman Wave. The same tools, only 15% bigger. Moreover, the Surge is built in such a way that certain parts are replaceable. Nice and sustainable when you use the tool a lot.
The large, full-size pliers are equipped with interchangeable wire cutters. This way you can sharpen them or even replace them when they are blunt. The saw is also replaceable. You trade it for the supplied file, or for another tool with SDS connection. That is the standard connection that you will find on many jigsaws.
Just like its little brother the Leatherman Surge has two knives that are accessible from the outside of the tool. A large serrated knife and a knife with a smooth blade. Both can be opened with one hand and are locked by a linerlock. You open the saw and scissors with two hands. Both tools are also blocked with a liner lock.
All other tools are kept in place with some kind of back lock. After all, you do not want a screwdriver to close when you are using it. On the inside you will also find screwdrivers, a can opener, an awl and more.
